Focus not on bodily pleasures

Love, loyalty and respect
Honesty, sincerity to expect

If you wish, you can do it all
Be proud, stand tall

At next year end, you will be
Better and living happily

Faith is my armor
That I wear every day
For living with honor
Protection from harms way

Faith is my sword
To fight evil and fear
For I know the Good Lord
Is always near

Faith allows me to see
The goodness and beauty in all
To love unconditionally
The weak, strong, the small

Faith is my power

For every second, every hour

The Christmas Season

This time of year
Consumerism holds so dear

Santa and his elves
Images for the $ell $ell $ell

Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Reindeer
Spreading Happy Holidays and good cheer

What are we celebrating in essence?
Just the giving and receiving of presents?

Where is the Messiah in this season?
Ignored for no good reason

Is the Babe of the Manger?
Becoming a stranger?

No!

From the time of His birth
His presence has been challenged on His Earth

Yet all attempts to extinguish the Light
Have failed to overcome Holy Might

The Son of God became the Son of Man
Planting Joy and Hope across all lands

It is this that we celebrate this time of year
It is this that we hold so dear
